Precision Aerial has been providing an air attack (and an air observation platform in QLD) on a call-when-needed basis for both QFES and NSW RFS for more than twelve years.
During 2013-2017, Precision Aerial Aerial has also supplied contracted fixed wing firebombing support to Origin Energy in the Darling Downs and Maranoa gas-fields.
During 2014-2017, Precision Aerial provided three NAFC primary partial fixed wing services at Meandarra, QLD base, accruing 650 hours of flying activity.
Recent Contracts
Precision Aerial has successfully tendered for two NAFC fixed wing primary absolute contracts based at Toowoomba Airport base from 2018+. These two AT802 aircraft will assist the QFES in fire suppression activities in the SE corner of QLD and elsewhere as conditions alter around the state.
Firebombing Aircraft
Precision Aerial Aerial operates 6 x Air Tractor 802s, equipped with Air Tractor GEN II Flow Fire Retardant Dispersal Systems (GEN II FRDS) with a messaging interface data vault information acquisition system, complete avionics package and DAAMs for trend monitoring.
